Why "my inSPIRE Network"?

➢ Many folks today, within or outside the institutional church, are tired of playing games. They are tired of people saying one thing, yet living differently. They need a place to experience intimate relationships.
➢ The reality is that all of us will have “battle scars”. Life is just that way. No one lives this life without being hurt or experiencing deep valleys. And you don’t want to go it alone. Henri Nouwen, a well-known author, writes … “Our own experience with loneliness, depression and fear can become a gift to others, especially when we have received care. As long as our wounds are open and bleeding, we scare others away. But after someone has carefully tended to our wounds, they no longer frighten us, or others. When we experience the healing presence of another person, we can discover our own gifts of healing. Then our wounds allow us to enter into a deep solidarity with others who have been wounded.”
➢ Jesus said it best … “I have come to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives … to comfort all those who mourn … to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, and a garment of praise instead a spirit of despair” (Isaiah 61:1-13).
➢ “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:31). You also want people around you who will celebrate meaningful milestones and victories. At “my inSPIRE Network”, you’ll experience communion, raise your cup in worship, praise and song. When you are soaring, we want to soar with you! Jesus does want you to have life and live it to the full (John 10:10).
➢ So God tells us to love Him with all of who we are, and then to love our neighbor as ourselves. That is quite the task. That is why it is called the Great Commandment. Easy to say. Not easy to do. The inSPIRE Network of Churches will help you do that. And to help you even more on the journey to become whole, take the opportunity go on a focused 6-month “inSPIRE Journey.”
